Congenital Heart Defect(CHD)

·         Heart defects that develop before birth are known as CHD.

·         These defects are due to the abnormal development of heart.

·         Congenital Heart Defects are the No.1 cause of birth defect related deaths.

"Approximately 9 babies in 1000 are born with a congenital heart defect"

Symptoms of CHD in Infants and Children

·         Murmur or abnormal heart sound.

·         A bluish tint(slight coloring)to the skin,fingernails and lips.

·         Poor feeding and poor weight gain.

What Aishwarya trust doing?

·         We fund for corrective surgeries to under-privileged children affected by CHD.

·         We are determined to spread awareness about Congenital Heart Defect.

·         We do conduct Screening and Medical Camps every month.
