- The users can make free calls to friends using the social network’s application well tailored foriPhones or iPads.
- Calls are made over the internet using either the telecom service data plans or connections to Wi-Fi hotspots. Facebook introduced a similar version of this feature earlier this year in its messenger programme.
- A recent update of the Facebook app for the Apple mobile devices shows your friends who are online and then gives the option of ringing them up by just tapping a relevant icon on the screen.
